McVantage Packaging

McVanatage Packaging is a company that specializes in wood packaging and at their Nashville facility they build wood pallets.  The company needed additional loading dock space, storage space and truck maneuvering area for the expansion of their operation.  TKC was engaged to provide civil engineering and site planning for the addition of a 5,000 sqft loading dock, truck manuevering area and finished wood pallet storage.  The project included designing the site to meet the clients needs while also meeting the requirements of Metro’s (Nashville) stormwater regulations which required extensive site grading, retaining walls and two bioretention ponds.
