Royal Blue Grocery - Rainey Street

The fifth location of Royal Blue Grocery is located on the ground floor of a high-rise residential building in the Rainey Street District of downtown Austin, TX. The high ceiling in the space allowed for a mezzanine above the kitchen for the owners to have an office and to be able to have a visual connection to the store. The chevron wood siding and full height millwork accentuate the height of the space, drawing the eye upward. All millwork was carefully designed to align and connect elements throughout the space while fulfilling the client’s display and storage needs.
