Second Chance Cabin

This project is called Second Chance Cabin as there was an existing house on the property that burnt down during the renovation process. TKC was enlisted once the client decided to build back new. This is a vacation home for the client and the request was to keep the home modest in size with cozy living spaces. The exterior is clad with white oak siding, beams, and columns and local stone was used for the foundation and fireplace. The overall design blends modern and traditional by introducing large full glazed windows throughout the house in conjunction with more traditional roof lines and materials. This cabin is the perfect retreat tucked away just 30 minutes south from the hustle and bustle of Nashville.
