Grub Burger Bar – Dallas, TX

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a high-rise office building in downtown Dallas, TX. In order to grab the attention of those traveling down the main street, the design extends beyond the interior to take over the exterior corner of the building. Using two of Grub’s signature materials, the exterior wraps the existing architecture with steel panels and Ipe wood siding. The 2×4 wood screen begins in a concrete planter at the entry and wraps upward and into the interior guiding the patrons through the queue line and into the dining areas. All booths are custom designs of steel frames and 2×4 wood members. As a part of the fast-casual concept the bar is located at the entry so that drinks may be ordered and served while people wait in line.
