Royal Blue Grocery #4

This grocery store/café concept welcomes regular locals and visitors each day. The simple palette of tile, custom painted millwork and chevron wood siding creates a relaxing atmosphere for people to gather for a brief meal, a meeting, or simply to read the morning paper. The fourth location is situated below a high-rise residential building and in walking distance of multiple businesses and hotels. To create a signature identity for this store a custom steel entry was designed with the custom ‘royal blue’ color to signify the entrance and be the focal point in the design. All millwork, countertops and shelving displays were custom designed for the client and specific to the needs of the space. The marble countertops that line the storefront create a visual relationship between the patrons on the inside with the pedestrians walking outside along the busy sidewalk helping to bring more people into the space.
