Spartan Pizza

This is the first brick and mortar location for the local pizza company who grew its name and popularity in a food truck down the street. The design challenge was to fit a full commercial kitchen with a walk-in and pizza oven, restroom, bar, seating, and order counter within a 1,000 SF space. Overhead steel framed shelving was utilized to create an aesthetically provocative yet functional design element that provides storage for pizza boxes, ingredients, and lighting. To provide additional seating on the exterior, the storefront is framed with bench seating that wraps overhead as a ledge for the companies sign. This added design element introduces depth to the elevation and a pop of color that draws the eye of the passersby.
